This Privacy Policy is applied to www.emporiocattani.it website (hereafter, the "Web site" or the "Site") and refers to the processing of personal data by Emporio Emporio Cattani Pelletterie Snc di Cattani Alberto e Silvia, with its registered office in Vicenza, 125, Via San Marco, 36051, Creazzo (VI), Company Reg. No. VI-186594VAT, and Tax code 01812760245 (hereafter, the "Company"), during a visit to the Web site and the users' interaction with its services and functionalities. The Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with the Recommendation 2/2001, adopted in May 17, 2001 by the Working Group for the Protection of Personal Information and it represents also informative to the concerned ones as per the Art. 13 of the Legislative Decree of 30 June 2003, No 196 (the "Privacy Code"). This Privacy Policy specifies the identity of the data controller that controls and manages the personal data collected and processed through the Web site, indicates what are the personal information collected, the purposes and the methods of the treatment, the scope of communication of the data to third parties, the security measures taken to protect and safeguard user's personal information, how the user can check the processing of data relating to himself and exercise the rights recognized by the Privacy Code.

The nature and the type of the collected and processed data

The Company collects and processes personal data provided voluntarily by the user during the submitting of an order, the registration to the Web site, the request of information, the subscription to the Newsletter, the sending of a notice by ordinary mail or through the Web site. The Personal data that the Company collects and processes include name, address, e-mail, telephone number, and any other personal information necessary to execute the specific service used by the user through the Web site. The navigation on the Web site does not imply the transfer of personal data, but the collection of them is necessary to process orders and to provide the services the user requests, such as registering to the Web site, subscribing to the Newsletter, answering to the user's questions and sending information requested by the user. In the specific sections of the Web site where the data are collected, a special statement prepared in accordance to the Art. 13 of the Privacy Code is published. When required under the Privacy Code, the Company asks for the user's consent before proceeding to the processing of the personal data. The Company treats also the users' surfing data, ie data whose transmission to the Web site is implicit in the operation of the computer systems responsible for managing the Web site and in the use of the Internet communication protocols. Navigation data are, for example, IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the Web site and other parameters related to the type and the operating system used by the user. The navigation data are collected and processed by the Company solely for purposes of statistics on the access and the use of the Web site and for purposes of monitoring the proper functioning of it; these data could be used for the assessment of some potential liabilities in case of computer crimes damaging the Web site or made through it. Excepting this, the Company retains the users' browsing data the required amount of time for the purposes described above and the data can be kept only in anonymous form.

The characteristics and the methods of the processing of the personal data

The personal data provided voluntarily by the user will be used by the Company for order processing, management of the user's registration to the Web site, sending the Newsletter as a result of the user's subscription to this service, answering to the user's questions and sending the information requested by the user. The personal data collected by the Company are treated mainly with automated tools, but even without the help of any electronic means, only for the time necessary to achieve the specific goals of treatment and in accordance with the current regulations on safety, with particular but not exclusive reference to Annex B (Technical Regulations regarding minimum security) of the Privacy Code. In addition, the information systems and the computer programs are configured to minimize the use of the personal data and the identifiers not necessary to the specific pursued treatment purposes.
 

Disclosure of personal data

The Company communicates the user's personal data within the limits and in the manners specified in this Privacy Policy, and in the Privacy Information published on the occasion of the data communication, and, in any case, in full compliance with the consent given by the user during the data collection, when required by the Privacy Code. The Company can use other third parties in order to fulfill your orders and deliver the services specifically requested. The information necessary to carry out its functions, and your personal data are processed by these third parties for the same purposes for which they were collected.

Your personal data will be accessible only in the Company corporate organization only to people who need to know them in relation to their duties and as a processor for processing orders, to allow your registration to the Web site, to answer your questions and to send you the requested information. The data will also be accessible by the Data Processing Manager, if appointed.

Your personal data may be disclosed to banks and credit institutions, professionals, self-employees, business partners of the Company, the Company third parties used in relation to the treatment purposes specified above, and to anyone who is the legitimate recipient of communications provided by laws or regulations.

The recipients of the communication of personal data will treat the data as Controllers, Managers in charge of processing or, as appropriate, for the same purposes for which the data were collected.
